Refund Policy
Last updated: March 2026
Our Commitment
Ummah Help is committed to transparency and donor satisfaction. We understand that circumstances can change, and we have established this policy to address refund requests fairly and consistently.
Eligible Refunds
- Duplicate payments: If you were charged more than once for the same donation, we will refund the duplicate amount immediately.
- Technical errors: If a technical error resulted in an incorrect charge, we will issue a full refund.
- Project cancellations: If a fundraising project is cancelled before funds are disbursed, donors will receive a full refund.
- Requests within 14 days: General refund requests submitted within 14 calendar days of the donation date will be considered, provided funds have not yet been disbursed to the beneficiary organization.
Non-Refundable Donations
Once funds have been disbursed to a charitable project or organization, refunds are generally not possible. This includes:
- Donations where funds have already been transferred to the recipient organization.
- Zakat and obligatory donations once fulfilled and disbursed.
- Donations made more than 14 days prior to the refund request (unless due to fraud or error).
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us at Info@ummahhelp.com with the following information:
- Your full name and email address used for the donation.
- The donation date and amount.
- The reason for requesting a refund.
We will review your request within 5 business days and notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days back to the original payment method.
Recurring Donations
You may cancel a recurring donation at any time through your dashboard. Cancellations stop future charges; they do not automatically trigger a refund of past payments. To request a refund on a past recurring charge, please contact us directly.
