1. Zero-Tolerance Fraud Policy
Ummah Help operates under a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding fraud, deception, misrepresentation, and financial misconduct. Every donation made on our platform is a sacred trust (Amanah), and we take all necessary measures to guarantee that donor funds reach verified humanitarian causes.
2. Verification & KYC Requirements
Before any organization or project starter can receive payout funds, they must successfully pass our mandatory Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) verification process.
- Government-issued Chamber of Commerce (KvK) or official charity registration certificate.
- Verified government-issued photo ID of authorized organization representatives.
- Official bank statement matching the registered organization name (IBAN verification).
- Detailed project budget breakdown and verified field implementation evidence.
3. Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & Sanctions Compliance
Ummah Help strictly adheres to EU regulations, Dutch financial laws (Wwft), and international anti-money laundering standards. Funds collected on the platform will never, directly or indirectly, be transferred to sanctioned individuals, entities, or countries, nor used for illegal activities.
4. Investigation & Campaign Suspension
If a campaign is flagged for suspicious activity, inaccurate claims, or unverified fund usage:
- The campaign status will be immediately updated to UNDER_REVIEW or TEMPORARILY_SUSPENDED.
- All payouts for the project will be frozen instantly.
- Our compliance team will request mandatory verification documents from the project starter.
- If fraud is confirmed, the project will be permanently BLOCKED, remaining funds will be refunded to donors or reallocated to verified causes, and appropriate legal authorities will be notified.
5. Reporting Suspicious Activity
If you suspect a campaign or project on Ummah Help is fraudulent, please report it immediately using the "Report Project" button on the project page or contact our compliance desk at Info@ummahhelp.com.
