  • Payment details: Processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card numbers.
  • Usage data: Pages visited, actions taken, browser and device info.
  • Zakat calculations: Asset values you enter when using our Zakat calculator.
  • KYC documents: Identity documents submitted for verification (organizations only).

3. Lawful Bases for Processing

  • Contract: To process donations and provide our services.
  • Legitimate interest: To prevent fraud and improve our platform.
  • Legal obligation: To comply with financial regulations and tax reporting.
  • Consent: For marketing emails (you can unsubscribe at any time).

4. How We Use Your Data

  • Process and confirm your donations.
  • Send donation receipts and tax certificates.
  • Notify you about projects you follow.
  • Improve our platform and prevent fraudulent activity.
  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Donation records are kept for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting regulations. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time, subject to legal retention obligations.
